Paying your Statement

Authorized Payer Access: You can grant access to Authorized Payers (Parents/third parties) in LionPATH to enable them to view and pay the Student Account Statement, enroll in the Installment Payment Plan, and access IRS Form 1098-T.   This section covers the following:

Please note: Authorized Payer access is separate and in ADDITION to the delegated access the student may have ALREADY granted via LionPATH for academic information.

Granting Authorized Payer Access

To grant access follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Student Home Base in LionPATH
  2. Click on "My Finances" on top of the page
  3. Select "Manage My Account/Make A Payment" to get to your Student Account Dashboard 
  4. Scroll down the overview page and click on “Send a payer invitation”
  5. Complete the information requested for the Authorized Payer and click on “Send invitation”. Your Authorized Payer will receive an email with the Authorized User and temporary password, and a link to log in to the student account.

 

Student Account Statement Notification

Notification is sent via your PSU email

An e-mail notification will be sent to your official Penn State e-mail account when the Statement is available to view and/or pay on LionPATH. Paper statements will NOT be mailed.  The Student Account Statement includes the amount due for courses enrolled, fees, as well as anticipated aid (grants, accepted loans, or other financial assistance) that is available at the time the statement is prepared.

To pay your statement:

  1. Log in to your Student Home Base in LionPATH
  2. Click on "My Finances" on top of the page
  3. Select "Manage My Account/Make A Payment" to get to your Student Account Dashboard
  4. Click on "Make a Payment" on the left side menu, and follow the instructions

To view up-to-date account information such as tuition charges, payments, and anticipated aid, log in to your Student Home Base in LionPATH, click "My Finances" on top of the page, and select "Manage My Account/Make A Payment". Then, click on the "Account Detail" link in the "Your Account" section.

Authorized Payer Log in

If you are an Authorized Payer on the student account follow these steps:

  1. Login under Authorized Payer public.lionpath.psu.edu.
  2. Once on the Student Account Dashboard, select "Make a Payment" on the left side menu.
